The report "Antarctica: Barometer of Climate Change" is in response to a request from the National Science Foundation's Office of Polar Programs to suggest future directions for Antarctic Meteorology. A workshop ( Antarctic Meteorology Workshop) was held in Madison, Wisconsin during June 1998 to consider this charge and the report results from these community deliberations.
