Educational Outreach

This web site contains teachers' guides and activities for elementary school students about Antarctica. We also have a Web Expedition for high school students. These activities have been designed to use as a supplement to your Earth Science course of study. All of these materials have been created to align with National and Ohio Educational Standards. We think that by using these ideas and activities you will find that Antarctica is a truly remarkable place to visit and study.

We also visit elementary schools in the central Ohio area to talk about geology and Antarctica (at no cost, contact the Curator).
