The Learning Center at BPRC is part of an education and outreach program aimed at promoting science and technology in the classroom and promoting dialogue between scientists, educators, and students at all levels. The center is equipped with SMARTboards, computers (both Mac & Windows), digital still & video cameras, and other technological resources (see list below). The BPRC Education and Outreach team can assist with their use and encourage use of the facility for direct interaction between scientists, teachers, and students.
The room offers a comfortable work area including a wireless connection to the Internet, workspace for individuals or groups, and comfortable surroundings. Snacks, a microwave oven, and a coffeemaker are also available, and you are encouraged to bring your lunch.
