Yearly Animations
Here, you can view clear-sky composite movies created by us here at Byrd Polar Research Center. To better understand Greenland in a rapidly changing climate, we must first observe the dynamics of the physical processes that take place day to day, intra-seasonally, and year to year. We are using MODIS to determine how sensitive Greenland is to climate variability over 9 melt-seasons, that is, April through September.
