		<description>It would be interesting to see a version of this graph that extends much further back into time.  Obvious to 800 AD would be ideal ;-),  but I realize impracticable.

Seriously, how far back do we have reliable data for these glaciers?

On this map http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/8b/Topographic_map_of_Greenland_bedrock.jpg it&#039;s clear that Peterman and Jakobshavn come very close to having a path entirely below sea level from the interior to the exterior, but at least to the resolution and accuracy of that map, there is no such path.  Am I misunderstanding what you said, or is the map inaccurate in that detail?</description>
